Mia is the daughter of Lemia, one for the Four Heroes and the leader of Vane. Lemia has protected Mia from the outside world for so long that she is oblivious to the joys and hardships found in the world below. Despite her mild nature, she is actually a very powerful magician. If she could learn one new magic trick, it would be making Nash disappear.
-Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete Official Strategy Guide
Mia, like all members of the Ausa family, was born to be the Guildmaster of Vane, a position she was once very afraid of but now takes quite seriously. When she was sixteen years old, she embarked on an adventure with her friend Alex, Nash, Kyle, and Jessica to stop the Magic Emperor Ghaleon. Once a shy, uncertain girl, this experience taught her how to be more open and her own self-worth. After these events, she has been lauded as one of the Five Heroes and will be remembered for centuries to come.
Mia was officially named the Guildmaster of Vane in the year 1035, some time after the events of the War Against the Magic Emperor, and has made sweeping changes to the city before and since. She strives to be a kind, just leader, willing to forgive most offenses but also willing to do whatever it takes to defend the people and the city she loves. But this civic duty, though important, takes a back seat to her teaching duties. Mia specializes in teaching fire and ice magics but is qualified to teach pretty much any subject the Magic Guild has to offer. She is humble, remarkably so considering the typical snooty attitudes of Vanetians, and insists on doing things for herself whenever she can, though she has no shortage of help. The people of Vane are utterly devoted to Majesty Mia and many are eager to serve her however they can.
"It's Gorgon Ghidra! Isn't he just the most adorable thing you've ever seen?! I LOVE little 'Gon!"
"I had no idea you had such a fondness for monsters, Mia..."
"You think I'm weird, don't you?"

It can be easy to forget sometimes that, though Mia is no longer a teenager, she still has a soft spot for cute things (or at least, things she thinks are cute). As well as playing in the rain, curling her hair, watching movies, and the other little freedoms that Milliways gives to her. Mia likes being a normal person in the bar, a place where she is not called Majesty.
Catching Harry's eye, [Ron] nodded covertly to a point some fifty yards away. The steam had thinned for a moment, and three people stood in sharp relief against the shifting mist.
"Look who it is."
Draco Malfoy was standing there with his wife and son...
-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Epilogue: Nineteen Years Later
During her first year at Milliways, Mia met Draco Malfoy and, quite by accident, became caught up in a whirlwind romance with him. They've had their problems, some worse than the average couple, but have always come back together in the end. On April 22, 1036, Mia and Draco were happily married and have remained so for nearly seven years now. Currently, Mia Malfoy-Ausa is twenty four years old, her first child, Cepheus, is over one and a half, and she's currently expecting her second child.
Physically, Mia is a rather slight, pale woman with violet eyes and black, curly hair. She is usually seen wearing official robes of the Magic Guild or clothes in pink or green, along with her recent acquisition of a very fine hat with an opal and gold flower pin, actually her engagement and wedding rings transfigured, attached. Anyone who is able to sense magic will be able to notice her.
Mia Malfoy-Ausa is from the Lunar video game series, specifically Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar Legend for the purposes of this journal, and is the property of Game Arts, Working Designs, Ubisoft, Studio Alex, and anyone else I might have missed. She appears here solely for the purpose of role-playing in milliways_bar, from which no profit whatsoever is being made.
