But she couldn't shake the sudden, odd feeling of hunger. She looked over her husband and wondered how deeply he was sleeping. Maybe he wouldn't mind giving her some company?
So she kissed Draco's cheek and whispered, "Draco? Draco, are you awake, honey?"

"In the mood for anything in particular in the kitchen, darling?"
"Oh yes. I'd like some pickled Salyan cactus if we've got any."
She then steps over to the nursery to check in on Cepheus. The toddler is half-awake from the noise of his parents moving around. He rubs sleepily at his eyes and yawns.
"We didn't wake you, did we baby?" she softly says.
"Mama?" he asks.
Mia responds by picking him up and rubbing his back, gently coaxing him back to sleep as he sucks his thumb.
"I'll check the pantry."
He took a few steps, and shoved the palms of his hands into his lower back as he bent his spine back to stretch. The wizard then made his way to the nursery in passing. A hand came out to touch the small of Mia's back.
"How's our little one?"
Cepheus blinked sleepily as Mia turned to let Draco see him. She then gives the child a kiss on the head.
"Perhaps we should take advantage of this and see if he magicked any sweets into his room. We wouldn't want him getting sick from overindulging again."
Draco nodded and turned toward the rest of the room. This didn't require a wand, and his wandless magic had improved immensely over the years. Saying the words still provided a good focus however, so he murmured it quietly to the room.
A few sweets and cookies appeared under the toddler's pillow who while sleepy did give an amused coo at the floating treats.
"Cepheus, really. Time to learn restraint," he shook his head. Even though part of him was proud how strong his son's emerging magic was, clearly evidenced from his unique heritage. Still he hid the amused smirk behind a more neutral expression.
It is pretty amusing to find your child's first sweets stash.
"I'm sure your dreams are sweet enough without these candies and cookies."
A quick Scourgify! to get the crumbs out of the bedding and she put Cepheus back down. She hands their son his Mow and he snuggles down to sleep again.
"Guess we can take these back to the kitchen while I get my snack. I hope we have some pickled cactus on hand."
"He'll learn, and I'll go ahead to look." He started to walk faster to head to the kitchen.
"I'm sorry I woke you, Draco," Mia apologizes before yawning. "I was just feeling restless and hungry. Though I am glad I have your company."
"Found them. You want them on a plate, or just eating out of the jar tonight?" Yes he's smirking with some amusement.
It got darker as she answered, "Well, no sense in dirtying a plate for this."
"Have you ever tried this?" she asks, offering him a spear. "It's really quite good."
"Not sure I like it."
"Well, at least you tried it. We should do that to set a good example for Cepheus."
She's already eaten half of the spear in her hand.
"I had these at Milliways the other day. It's like Miss Bar knew exactly what I wanted. It's almost like a...a..."
She trails off, searching for the right word.
"...A craving?"
